<p>An interactive tool for tracking visits to holy places associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Holy Places app offers a comprehensive reference guide complete with pictures, information, maps, and links. This allows users to create a personalized record of their experiences at sacred Temples, Historical Sites, and Visitors' Centers. Users can document their visits with notes, pictures, and details about the ordinances performed.</p>
<ul>
    <li>A summary page provides an overview of the total number of places, places visited, and ordinances performed for each year and overall.</li>
    <li>The app features a motivational achievement system that tracks significant milestones and marks the locations where users have achieved them.</li>
    <li>Temple-themed inspirational quotes are included to provide encouragement and inspiration.</li>
    <li>Users can easily filter the list of places by category and mark them as visited or not visited.</li>
    <li>The list of places can be sorted alphabetically, by proximity, country, dedication date, or size (for temples).</li>
    <li>Each place's details page offers quick access to the location on a map, contact information, and the place's website.</li>
    <li>Regular app updates keep users informed about the progress of temples under construction.</li>
    <li>Users can set an annual temple attendance goal and track their progress towards it.</li>
    <li>The app provides convenient 3D Touch Quick Launch options for accessing nearest places, selecting a random place to visit, and recording a visit.</li>
    <li>A Today Widget is available to display the user's attendance goal progress and their most recent temple visit.</li>
    <li>Optional reminder notifications can be set to record a visit within a specified time after leaving a holy place.</li>

<p>The Holy Places logo features The Morning Star from the stained glass windows of the Nauvoo Temple and was designed by the creator's teenage daughter. It embodies both the historical and temple aspects of the Holy Places app.</p>
